1. Write a reply to E.G. Alexander & Co., with the following particulars:  a)Acknowledge the receipt of their letter of May 31;  b) Agree to their proposal of establishing trade relations with you;  c) Commodity inspection will be handled by the Bureau concerned in Shanghai.




2. Write a letter advising Continental Trading Co., Ltd., 24th street, Rangoon, that the shipping space of 15,000 bales of cotton, purchased on FOB basis from the said company, has been booked on s.s.”Yamatm Maru”, which is scheduled to call at Rangoon on or about 15th November.




3. Answer an enquiry from Winter & Co., who wants to know what method of payment your firm is prepared to accept.
